I like the fact (and it's been mentioned by several others) that there is still a 'roughness' to this, which makes it look so much cooler.

And his serious expression adds even more to the mood and feeling of this picture.

I don't usually lurk in the art area, but I saw this on the front page and went "heeeyyy!"

It's the roughness of the piece that drew me, actually. Kind of a DC edge to it, I think, and I like it. That, and the serious sort of focus was well-captured, and a welcome change from a stereotypically über-annoying twit of a character.

Makes me actually want to read about him now. =P Nice work.
