Its good, really good, the only thing that bothers me is the really heavy shading on the side of the face, its just a really big contrast and the eye on the left is a little weird. Other than that it is really good, totally give another crack at it.
i really like the shading around the eyes, but the eyes themselves need some improvement. and his face is sort of squareish. i certainly think that you should keep doing realism!

Looks great! I think that maybe you should make the face a little longer and a little more bulk in the hair...(isn't too great with realism! D:)
