it's like...a photograph. sugoi ne! the only spot i see a problem at is the bridge of the nose is...nonexistent, but i would believe that the scanner ate it. my scanner likes to spite me by making my drawings look bad too (not that they're this good anyways, tho!)

I think it's good that it came out dark...it gives better contrast along with the white parts!
I had to look at the reference picture because it looks like she doesn't have a neck...almost like she's holding her own head up in some sort of abstract piece...but that's how it is in the picture too...I think the photographer just used bad lighting in that department.XD So yeah, with that said, you did a very accurate piece of the photo! The hair turned out very well and the hands as well!

This really does look great...I don't think I'm really in a position to critique but I'll try......ummm.......ok....the face and hair look great...the arm and hands look more cartoon-ish and don't really "go" with the face...there I tried ^^
