I think it was Quent "Pops" Yaiden who shot him by accident. Pops was shooting at Darcia, and Toboe jumped in to attack Darcia as well, but it's kinda hard to tell (I'm 88% sure though).

I had heard about this part but haven't seen the series. It seems like a very sad scene indeed! You did a nice job with the drawing...the pose and expression fit together nicely...as well, as the overall grayish theme.
