It's okay, Link; we're all confused about it, too. Seriously, I think you've captured the essence of what this creature is supposed to inspire. But nowadays, when I see these things, I can't stop laughing.
he's saved hyrule time and time again- i bet he's so sick of it he hopes it blows up right in his face, and then they have to replace him!..... i wonder if that would work...

My friend Dara absolutely LOVES the little bomb-terd birdie. Every time she's at my house all she wants to do it chase it (usually as a puppy) and laugh everytime it flings pellets at her X3
