The mouth actually is supposed to be downturned that way and was in the same position in the piece of original art that I based this piece off of. As for the hair, in the original inspiration the hair was this color, pinkish. The one area where I did change the color drastically was on the kimono...I darkened it quite a bit. Besides, the great thing about fan art is that it isn't exactly like the original, imo. Some of my most favorite Kenshin fan art (check out Seifer sama's work) on this site is completely unlike the original Kenshin artwork...very freeflowing with the linework and coloring. You can tell that person loves drawing, period. XD

He is so pretty. I just want to hug him.

I like them too, even if they aren't the traditional colors one associates with Kenshin. :D Hmm...you might be seeing a few more vector pieces from me in the near future...I decided I needed more experience in the program...this was also the first piece where I played with gradient meshes on his face a bit... Man, I have so much more learning I have to do, lol. Might as well have fun creating my fav anime images while practicing, lol.
