Wowww... I am totally INLOVE with this picture. It's awesome how you looked past the normal Christmas stereotypes; it gives the peice a really strong meaning.
And the perspective is amazing! Along with the coloring and about eleventy billion other things.

your colors are amazing! i love how you can use it to set an atmosphere! its a good message too, about winter not always being cheery, i think alot of people forgot winter pretty much spells death for not-people(aka animals)ohhh is this for that winter contest?

It's so nice to see something that drifts from mainstream stereotypes. Winter most certainly isn't a pleasant season, where young lovers snuggle by the fire or children prance around, happily catching snowflakes on their tongues.
That only ever happens in movies, you know.
I really like how honest and realistic this picture is. It shows a more believable scenario. That's how I feel 90% of the season.
I much prefer summer. X'D

This piece, by far, has the strongest message. Therefore, I really think this piece should win. Most of the entries here are really similar in what's in the piece and the colors. Fantastic Job. My favorite so far.

Okay, yeah, I know it's already been said, but your perspective is awesome. It really adds something to the piece. The cold and almost washed out white coloring looks great too. Everything comes together really well, and really gets the mood of the piece across to the viewer. Great job!
