is it a photo-manipulation? the hair looks pretty different from the face. whether it is or not, try to work on making the hair more shaded instead of just solid black. the lack of highlites makes it look like i twas just slapped on as an after thought instead of really bringing the whole thing together. well, whatever it is, nice job^^
