It is amazing what one can do with just a mechanical pencil, no? =] I think you did a terrific job! And you've never really seen L before so that makes it even more amazing! ^^ Definitely got my vote for that!

the shading of the hair is really top notch but he looks a little too much like gerad leto from 30 seconds to mars here....

You always draw hair so well! The hair and the eyes look great! I don't think I ever saw L smile before. Maybe once...but not that big. :D Great job!
