I changed my style alot usually tmm did get me to draw anime again. Well when I was in first grade I only knew how to draw chibis. Then in 2nd and 3rd I quitted drawing anime. So when I got to tmm in the 4th grade now I only draw anime.

i've always drawn since i was really reeeeaaally little. but when i started getting into mange, my mother was worried thati would lose my style. for a while i still drew in my own style, but also tried to copy japanese stereotipical drawing. once i could draw chibis and stuff, i blended my art together. so now i can draw realism, chibis, completely anime, i can do 'the original style of the creator' drawings from series not my own, and i feel great with it. i think that copying is sometimes a good way to gain knowledge about anatomy, perportions, and just different angles and such. i do agree, however, that no matter what, everyone should try to develope thier own style. i like the pic in just the pink, by the way. it makes it attractively different. I think what irrational prince is trying to say is that we all seem to be to immitate mia ikumi's style instead of trying to find our own. Although no one person can have a drawing style that is entirely seperate from every other,we should still try to be original. Even so,it is understanable that some may immiteate the style of an artist wich they idolize,for it is lonly humane nature. I belive that eventually each one of us will gorw out of this habitte and proceed further in finding our creative voice,however i see no harm in coaxing develpoment of style. I think the reason irrational prince chose to draw ichigo in this style,is so she could emphasize the fact that we are trying too hard to immitate mia ikumi.

I COMPLETELY agree but, as Emptyhead said, we start drawing somewhere. For some, its TMM. I didn't start in TMM. I started with Full Moon and also old stuff lik Digimon and Pokemon xD aaaaah!! ya! u bring up the most interesting things, i think thats good! wat wuld we do without our iri-chan helpin us about?! eh? I think I hav my own style O_O I HOPE I hav my own style. I noticed, from the beginning, that u did! My friend admires u for dat xD so bravo!! Moi buen!! ur point is true! I believe in order to have a picture really say "This was drawn by so-and-so" u need to put apart of urself in it. If ur sad, u need to draw sad thinks. Express urself in ur drawings. If ur mad, well... ya make it something mad or even to coool u down. We need to show ourselves in our pictures, that is the real challenge ever artists faces(in my point of view). If we cannot let the viewer see apart of us in it, we aren't much of artists. And changes in art is always good. Very very good. IT shows we hav changed. i think what it is , is that the people on this section (most of em) started drawing because of TMM. its only naturally human for us to put on paper what our eyes see. take me for example, TMM is why i personally started drawing, i cant tell because its me, but im sure my style still reflects it, even though ive been drawing for 4 years. im still learning, so is everyone. even you ^-^ now, i can say that your style looks like some ive seen before, so why holler at other people? theres bunches of anime that looks like tmm, it may just be that the way they draw is similar. so what? not that im yelling at you or anything. dont get me wrong ^-^ but thats just how i see it ^-^ and i really like your pick! even though it was quick, its really cute!! ^-^
