Just came back to correct myself. This picture was from the cover art for volume 16. On the final American version Ayaka's chest piece covers a lot more(not sure about the japanese version), but in the origional concept drawing for it, as well as in the story itself her outfit is indeed that revealing...considering that she wore that outfit to MC a major event for the school festival it would seem that Ayaka is quite the exhibitionist...I honestly do read this for the story.

Great job. Negima is one of my all time favorite mangas. By the way, I'm pretty sure that in the manga Ayaka's outfit is white on her chest,not cut out... or perhaps she had a white top under the cutout area.
