This picture has such a good point to it. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's just about going to snap from all the Naruto fanart! DX The numbers...The votes...It's just driving me nuts! And when I saw the anime, I'd have to agree with you, that's EXACTLY how I felt too.
I don't think thats fair to Naruto(the anime/manga) If it's good people can like it and if people like it they should draw it. It's no-ones fault it's popular and no ones fault that alot of the submitted art is naruto fanart.so if some ppl don't like it, they can ignore it, but ppl still have the choice of liking it and supporting it. To each thier own...

Sorry but I'm a Naruto fan and I'm sorry but its whats popular now and so of course its gonna be in the featured art crap for a while. -____- Don't worry, you can kill the next big anime that comes along steals the featured art area as well. Oh yeah I'm not one of those "dsfasidufhs SASUKE dkfashfkjds NARUTO!" type of fangirls. Those stupid fans give the rest of us fan a bad name.
Ah how the fads work. I can remember when InuYasha was the top of the totem pole, now it's Naruto. What'll it be next year? who knows, but it'll probably be just as bad as what's going on now. It gets boring to look at the same characters drawn over and over again.
Once again the expressions on the piece are very well done. I don't even have to read the captions to find the piece funny.
I'm with you on that Original Anime and other animes should get more representation on featured art
