:/ well, see, I don't have a "group into new smart object" setting... that's why I made this as broad as possible, because photoshop versions are different, and I used only the very basic stuff that everyone 'should' have. (and I appologize again if I mintion settings that some of you don't have)

This is neat! Except I color over lineart by selecting the background layer and clicking "Group into New Smart Object" and the I create a new layer with the "Multiply" setting and put it under the background. Then I create a new normal layer over the lineart and color. It does the same thing, too! :D But your method sounds pretty cool too!

:P Funny. Too bad this didn't exist a year ago. Then I could've used my photoshop more ^^" It would've really helped rather than my method of click and see what happens.
