i wish i could color as good as you i like the lineart too great job plajades.

I'm not doing this for the sake of you getting a good rank, but I truely love it! It may be animed, but the shades of color and the way your mascot is drawn is so realistic! I especially love the idea of the whole mascot thing. Unlike most people, you based your art on something that's totally you, and not some popular anime. Love it to pieces!

I so so so love it... You really did an awsome job here peleidas... But.. maybe.. a little touch on the face.. BUt sorry.. shoudln't have said that.. *gomenasai* But I still uber uber love it I just.. how do you do the coloring so well.. I tried it once with a drawing and I so didn't have succes.. *sigh* Well anyway.. Super job!!

Maybe I do see the neck a little big but it seems that way because on the left side u didnt cut part of it like u did on the right side.The head and eyes beautifull and greatly done.I loved the samuray theme and how u included the logo is just original.The armor seems futuristic but that not bad I like it and the sword is just great.One of my favorites and if u asked me most people voted no* not because they didnt like ur art.Just to say if u also cutted the left side of the neck I will consider the best neck I ever seen It gives a daring sexy apearence.I liked the combo of colours u used dont like green :P.The pic is like usual great. Thank you very much for the fine comment! It's few and far between I get a chance to defend my art. I mean this as clarification in terms of my art, not as a bitter retort. I have no qualms regarding the uniform color, so I can see how it might be more "dynamic" visually if I had picked different colors. I just wanted it to look slightly traditional. I should note that the color red implies meanings besides color. The whole color scheme of the picture has it's purpose, but I don't want to give too much away! As for the neck, I wanted the limbs, and neck to have a willowy look. I wanted contrast with the hard looking armor, and her slightly delicate looking frame. It's a fine line to walk between maintaining a manga/anime look with a slightly realistic look. It's a matter of style for me, so that explains the neck. I also just love big crazy hair! The more unruly, the better. I tried to add a more solid border but it did not look right. It made the pic look more claustrophobic, and since it's in an outside setting, a sense of space is needed. It had no scope when the border was too solid. That is why I chose a random open frames(s). Once again, thank you for the comment. I really enjoyed it!

Alright! 50% rating, so I'm doing something right! I should also mention, since I didn't have enough room on the description, that this is also influenced by the ensemble worn by Miss Japan, Kurara Chibana. She looked so cool in that costume, so I was unfluenced by it when I did this pic.
