This is FANTASTIC!!! You shoule totally win for this! Not only is it cute, but it's the best theme for this contest. I mean, come on, you drew the basic example of an Otaku for an "Art of OTAKU" contest. Hah! You even used to logo as the admission pass for a Convention. Am I right? ^^

When I saw the thumbnail for this drawing I was like: WHOA!!! *huge eyes of amazement!* LOL you really out did yourself Akane! This looks so wonderful! I really like her facial expression the best and the yummy strawberry pocky she has in her mouth.
All the little details that you did really add more style to the picture! Like the awesome SOUND ninja(?) head band that she is wearing. Along with that YYH sundae picture you drew this has to be one of my most favorite pieces that you have ever created! I sure do hope that you win the contest!

HOLY COW! This is so awesome! O.O Seriously, the colors are so bright and vibrant, and they go well together. The detail you put in Akane's face and hair is wonderful, and I love the fact that you went ahead and added in extra little details for style. Like the strawberry pocky she has in her mouth and the keychains too. Also, the fact that you used a 'Anime-Convention' theme for this pic just makes it all the more cool and creative. I also really like the fact that you put the logo on the VIP pass as well. XD Awesome job! I personally hope that you win because this is just too cute!
