I think depending on if you're referring to the Suikoden III manga or videogame, you can either submit where you did, or in Other Videogames. :) That said, I think this is exellent job for a first cg. I especially like how you mand the grass/roots(rocks?) in the front a little burry, setting the focus on Jacques even more. Some advice would be to highlight more. You've good contrast with the shading, but highlighting would improve it even more.I like how soft it looks on his outfit, but the the trees and bushes would benefit from greener highlights, rather than a soft highlight. btw, great angle. I really think you pulled that off well. And, depending on how you color, you should either darken the lineart or set the color layers to multiply so it darkens the lineart somewhat (assuming you use photoshop or something with Multiply XD) Keep up the good work!

That's not bad at all for a first CG. My first try with Cging was horrifying, I didn't know how to set the layers to multiply and was woundering why my paint covered up my lines >.>'' *cough* anyway a little cging future advist would be to add in a bit more shadows, make it dark in the places light doesnt fully reach. well thats a bout if good job on the first attempt. Keep at it you can only get better.
