Practice is the best way to learn! She looked great before, and looks super awesome now. Heh, you can see all the flesh now. Roar. =P
The rough edges don't detract from the picture. And it's something you'll get better at. ^_^ I wouldn't say you need more shading necessarily, or more colors, just a bit of darker shades added in in places, to give it a real depth. That's easier said then done, I know. I think you are well on your way to learning how to do this well though. Keep up the good progress!
