Alright, first off, I do like the robe. It would definitely be comfortable to train in. I am also quite fond of your shading; it's well done. However, to improve this picture if I may make a few suggestions? First off, that stance is nice. For all other purposes, it would be practical. Yet this is not properly suited to training with a sword. The balance would be incorrect; the left leg should either be flat on the ground facing towards the viewer or off the image. This is just a picky detail. Also, the shoes are very original, but they would be more than difficult to try to perform twists and jumps in. Lastly, samurai use katana. If you wish for your character to look as if he's using one, I suggest curving the sword slightly. Also, the minute that instrument hit bone, it would snap in half; it's far too thin. Take these things into account and your art will exceed all expectations!

i like the style, it's so neat. I dunno what to call it, but i'll figure one eventually. Until then, its Aram! Wonderful Aram, sir. (lol, that sounds odd.)
