It's a good idea, to create something without the pressure, but it was silly to post it at the same time as ours. It could have waited til ours was done. I'll have to think about the negotiation part. I don't want to say we'll use theirs or else that will put the pressure you didn't want in the contest on them.

I'm still completely dumbfounded as to why it was created. Yes, you did explain why, but didn't you think about it a tad more?

We did post guidelines, but we tried very hard to make create the least amount of pressure as possible. Plus, I feel like this competition could take some of our potential contestants away. I would feel horrible if I saw the perfect mascot on here! I can't come over and tell them they won a contest they didn't participate in, it wouldn't be fair, ya know? I know it sounds selfish and blunt, but we're trying to promote and grow our world while you're just doing a random event that's going to be over and forgotten in a month.

Besides, wouldn't you need a mascot to represent something? Can you really just say, "Make a mascot!" without a theme for them to use?
