Hey, What if I came and said whatever you think is worthless? I already get enough crap from my College professors, I think that beliefs are important to everyone and no one wants to be dissed by people of other beliefs. Loose the high and mighty attitude, no one likes it.
I have to agree, I think you are prett mean about the religion thing. I never even noticed it till now. I'm a christian and right now I am dealing with a lot of crap because of my beliefs. I wrote my entry with what just came out. People should never judge based on religion, you don't want me calling evolution or whatever you believe about the world as crap! Keep your thoughts to yourself and grow up. I am very tired of people like you dissing me for my beliefs.
Yes. But it was the work choice. I would have cared less if the challenge said, "I would feel uncofortable with poemsa about religion" or "I would prefer if it was not about religion since I don't want that to be the focus." There were more tasteful ways of going rather than using such strong vocabulary.
Hmm. I was going to enter this challenge, but as a lot of people here have said...the whole thing about "religion is crap" part deterred me. I wasn't going to write anything about religion, but the fact that you have excluded people based on their beliefs is crap. You have every right to your opinions; you can be atheist, but you could have said "I'd prefer no religious cards," instead of calling it "crap." That just goes a bit far. It's completely tasteless.
I agree with Taiga Pakkunari, saying religion "crap" is too mean. You are able to not believe God but you must be considerate for who has a religion. Sorry for mean comment but you musn't say things like that.

It's fine by me if you don't want to read anything about religion, but I think you could have stated that less hurtful... I mean, I can respect the fact that you don't want to believe in God or anything else, but talking about 'religious crap' goes just a little too far I think...
I might try to give it a shot though, I rarely write religious poetry anyway...^^
It cococomy's opinion and it's her challenge so she can require there be nothing about religion. Plus there are also millions of those who don't really care for religion and can think on their own. I'm sorry if this sounds mean but I wanted to state my side of it. Now please let's not make this a debate; just focus on the cococomy's purpose of the challenge. A poem about life; I think it will be fun. :)

how can we write what we think of the world if we can't include "religion"? if that's really what we believe, we can't write what we think without including it. just saying.
religion is NOT crap! you could say it a bit nicer! I'm sorry, but honestly, even if you dont have a religion, millions of others like me have one and are very fond of it. Sorry about being so mean....I dont mean it to be like that, it's just.... religion isnt crap. Jesus isnt crap. :)
