I'm curious about this one, but I'm unclear on one thing: does it HAVE to be one of the two series that you gave examples of? 'Cause I'm not super familiar with either.

anyways all i ever do it seems is watch these kind of shows

I just watched it. You know,it's actually not horrible. I will probably like it more when they air it in the US but that's not gonna happen till later this year.
The first episode of the new season is actually out already! (I haven't watched it yet though because I'm still trying to finish re-watching the original series.)
But yes, it's totally fine to used references as long as you either provide a link to what you used or give full credit to watch the references is.

I AM SO DOING THIS! Funny enough, I'm going to do Code Lyoko. I love that show. Hey, did you know there's going to be a new season?
Quick question: Are we allowed to use references?
