i dyed my hair purple once at summer camp. my mom had a heart attack over it, and immediately made me bleach my hair. lol! (i was only 16, but still, it was summer! no one was going to see me!)

i'm 19, my mom would still murder me over dying my hair, so do not feel too sheltered, parents are obsessed with natural colored hair!

i mean, if you want to get into it, bleached hair isn't really natural looking either, but there is just NO reasoning with an angry mom.

anyway, i entered the contest! i am very excited. it took me a really long time because i am no good at drawing.

I sorta feel fat when I'm around my aunt because of how small she is, and my healthiest weight is near 120 lbs (at only 5'1"....sounds fat, huh? It's just cause of my curvy shape though oWo) and she's lighter than that. I normally wear a size 6 - 8 in jeans, and she's like a size 4 so I feel FAT since she's taller than me, too. But I've come to realize it's not that I'm fat, but just curvy. And everyone's body is different. I could weigh the same as her and be just as tall and wear a size bigger or smaller. I've come to love the shape I have. I'd rather embrace it than hate it.

I do have curves. At first, it was always a problem to me. I hate my butt, and my boobs just kept getting bigger and it was annoying! But after a while, I realized that a lot of people would KILL to have a body like that, and I personally think it looks better than stick-like and flat. I have an aunt who is 5'4" and 100 pounds and she has no boobs or butt and she looks so sickly! I'd rather look healthy and curvy than like that. So I've started learning how to embrace my body and love it for what it is. X3

From what you're describing, you have curves! You know how many girls wishes they have a curvy body instead just a stick figure? Luckily, I have some curves unlike my cousin who's just tall and flat...though there's nothing wrong with it, but you know what I mean...

Most Asian people are tiny, and anime characters, since they're made my Asian people, are tiny, too. o3o I'm short, but I'm far from small. I have like big butt, boobs, wide hips. Whole nine-yards. To me, there's a difference from small and short, and I'm just short xD

This looks really interesting! I will probably go as the Kadaj from FF VII Advent Children. Just that my hair is somewhat shorter, but that can be fixed. xD

Alrighty! I saw your picture, and I've decided one character (for now) that I think would work.

Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon.

She's got a very short boy-ish hair cut, but she's still very pretty. Her hair is light in color, like yours, though hers is blonde. And she's one of the only characters that doesn't really wear an insane amount of make up or anything.
Are you tall? Cause she's like 5'9' xD
