Lazy Chocobikies (Otaku Eternal) | Posted 12/28/10 | Reply
lotsa ppl would collab with u - ur an excellent arist
except for fear of being kidnapped <-- but most dont know that part yet
collab doesnt mean to copy another's style (Although it helps when ur styles mix nicely)
it mean stwo ppl working on one piece of art
1) one draws, another colours
2) one draws part, the other does another
i remeber pinging back and forth artwork when i did a collab with FD XD
it was fun
Grand Otaku | Posted 12/28/10 | Reply
actually i won't... i thought Collab meant copy the style of the artist i forgot it meant do 1 with the artist
she probs wudn't do this and i wud probs have to pay to be able to do it -sighs- nm hay
wud of been way good tho lol
unless anybody knows how i cud get get in contact with her?
GRAND PIZZA LORD (Otaku Eternal) | Posted 12/27/10 | Reply
yeah sure since two artist working on one artwork. have you asked her permission already?
@fluffy sama fan:
If your the one who will submit it, dedicate it to the one who you collaborated with... vice versa. But I suggest if the one you collaborated with would want to submit an artwork too, It's better if it's a different entry. It's rather difficult to choose if I like the piece and Have to choose w/c of you to declare a winner since both entries are the same... In case you won, Your friend will also get a prize just like you but w/o medal.

My husband doesn't have his stuff online except his facebook, but I'll try and get him to set up a DA so I can link him for us to do a collab ^^
Although if anyone else wants to collab with me as my husband may be too busy at this time for us to do something together, I do better at coloring than drawing if someone else is good at making line arts and wants to collab ^^ I'm also full of ideas.

pm me if you want to do a collab with me i'll respond and i work very quickly so beware :3
Otakuite+ | Posted 12/27/10 | Reply
Haha, no I'm not trying to be an idiot or anything, it's just troublesome since I've done collabs with people who have agreed to do one, then never responded. Oi, haha. I guess I'll just post for anybody interested to do one with here then. Feel free to contact me people. I'm not gonna bite...maybe.

Sounds interesting, but I have a question. If the collab artists are both from theO, should the piece be entered in only one person's name, or should the pic be submitted twice, one under each artist? I kind of have an idea of who to collab with, but I just want to clarify that.
Senior Otaku+ | Posted 12/27/10 | Reply
This sounds awesome! I have a collab in process now, so it's perfect!
Otaku Legend | Posted 12/27/10 | Reply

I think I'll join. its has a very nice ring to it.. I do have a few artists in my mind but.. hmm...
Still thinking! =D
Grand Otaku | Posted 12/27/10 | Reply
Collab means follow the style of a fav artist and collab them together as in two pieces from 1 right?
is it ok if i do this with 1 of Victoria Francez's pieces?
only i love that famous artist so much and i'm in the middle of drawing 1 of my friends in the same style as a personal challenge with that 1 purpose... so is it ok if i can do that?
whats a collab?
GRAND PIZZA LORD (Otaku Eternal) | Posted 12/26/10 | Reply

Oh, they're on here.^^ One never puts up what she draws, because she's a beginer, but i wanna try and see if she will want to do SOMETHIING in it.^^ The other draws some.
sure. feel free~ if they have a site, give me a link if it is possible.
Since I can't do those supah ninjah awesome computer programs with this, can I make on with my buddies IRL or...?
yes. you should ask their permission. hmm... that's really a problem, I hope they would. You could try and comment here asking if someone be willing to do collab with you though. just say if my answer is not really helpful.
Otakuite+ | Posted 12/26/10 | Reply
So, should we ask permission from the person we decide to do the collab of? I know quite a few pieces which I'd love to draw a counter to, but the artists never really respond to comments. :/ Just a quick question, of course, I'd usually ask permission first, but you know. This and that.
