haha. Its totally ok to hate a dub. Especially in the case of one piece because 4kids changed a lot of the art as well, and didn't do a very good job in many cases. (If you're going to replace a cigarette with a lollipop, at least remove the smoke. I mean, smoking lollipops, ).
Just try to focus on whats actually good or bad about the show, not what the masses think.
Sigh, I don't think you know of the extent of the censorship of the 4kids dub. It was so terrible that millions of people were steered away from the anime. It's sad because more of the people I ask, "What do you think of OP?" say, "It was terrible!" and 95% of those people saw the horrible dub the other five were steered away because of the art. *sighs* Feels like I'm preaching to a choir here honestly.
