it is. (i find that it's a little slower (or maybe just the choreo is slower) than the Korean version.
It did it for me because of the sense of originality and upbeatness (if that's even a word) compared to most American music. Kpop just has this sense of exoticness that I love. (actually that word is funny because I'm a big EXO fan too.)
I just can't deny the pull that SHINee and all of kpop has. XD

Lucifer was my very first song too. however, it IS my favorite song. Kpop totally took my life down another track.
