I don't know, I'm one of those fans that doesn't think Magneto is a villain. I can see where he's coming from, I totally get it. He's just trying to make a better world the only way he knows how. And I think he just really wants Charles to understand and accept his views and actions. He's waiting for Charles to understand his experiences, waiting to understand his true motivations for accomplishing this climatic goal.
I think Erik's just afraid of the humans and their own fear of the unknown. He's just like a small child trying to clear the monsters from his closet, y'know? He just wants acceptance for who he is and how he feels.
What really hit me during the scene was Erik's face. In that single moment I believed that there was some good in him. And it also made me start to believe in Cherik. But besides the look is was THE EERY SULENCE. AS YOUR CARD SAYS. I love Jennifer Lawrence. I will marry that woman.
