It does that to me too sometimes but I just keep messing with the sizes and text box until it shows the way I want.
and if you're talking about strokes go to: Layers>Layer Styles>Stroke

Never used cs4. This is my first PS actually. Hmm, I wonder what more they can add to cs6, seriously. There is already so much to cs5 o__O

I hope so. The text box is a little weird so I'm sticking with doing text on my old software. XD

I drag out the text box and type, but even when my font is only size 6 (the smallest, correct?) most of the time I can't get my whole message in there. I can't figure out how to make the font have a different colored outline either.

Very nice card! I use cs4 so I don't know if I can't help you to be less confused but, from what I've seen, cs4 and cs5 are quite similar so I think you'll be used to it quickly, don't worry ;)
