I really love how it goes from completely greyscale to gradual colors! A very interesting way to incorporate the borders. I also like the text placement and quote. You did a fantastic job with this card! Good luck in the challenge! <3
I was planning of doing a more dark card but then i changed my mind and what i really wanted was to show the contrary of darkness, something more peaceful i guess ^^;

I'm liking how you incorporated the fading, my only query would be why such bright colours if you're talking about darkness?
