I was 6 and i still remember...I panicked cause my aunt works in NYC...she called us later that night. She was all right. From her office window she was able to see it happen.
Today in class we watched video clips of the news from that day. I wanted to cry. It's all so unbelievably horrible. Whenever I see airport security, I think "I will gladly comply with them and I am so grateful to them for doing the job they do, but it's so sad that it's become necessary to have them."
You are right to make a card like this. Those people, their poor families and friends, and those brave heroes should never be forgotten.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
