Basically, Homeland Security is supposed to protect people from terrorist threats. And if get word gets around (you know, from tapping phones and internet history) that you might be associated with terrorists, they pay you a visit and you get in trouble. xD
So, running around going, "I love terrorist!" is like a beacon saying, "Please arrest me!" xD
