Ok, just making sure.....it can be hard to know. ONE last thing. Let's say there's a note on the very bottom line, and the the next not is only a hair higher than the first one. Even though it's barely higher, does that mean to go to a new fret?
Ok....so far anything I sorta play and do on guitar doesn't even have the difference in the frets like that as it is, so by the time I get to doing things like that, I'll probably have a much better understanding of this. Do any of the lines on the staff represent certain frets? Just curious....
And thank you for all your help! Really, it means ALOT!!
Well, the notes CAN be between the lines, and some are shown off the lines: below them. So, the higher ones are all on the staff, but the lowest ones will be below it.
Hope that helps.
Awww, shucks again >///////<
I'm glad you're so confident about your music~! ^^
Because of you I feel much more confident about my band working out someday! OH! This reminds me! One last question about music!!
Let's say.....3 measures of the song used a chord that was played on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fret, and the two measures used a chord played on the 10th, 11th and 12th fret (just a lame example xD). How would you show going up so high on the neck in written music?? Since there are only 5 lines O_o
And, is it the higher on the staff, the closer to the body?
Oh, you're very great!! Not just because you helped me get to where I can officially write music (yaay XD) but also because you're a very very nice person!!
But they're on different stages of the guitar, so they're different pitch. The closer to the main body of the guitar you get, the higher the sound becomes~! ^^
The thing I don't get about that is if it's the same chord for, like....let's say 3 measures use the same chord, same notes/beats/counts......why are the music notes on different lines of the staff??? It makes no sense if you're not changing the freakin chord!!! O_o I'll check out the link! Thanks, I hope it helps......Music is so confusing!
Hey, the different spacing is like what note you play. Depending on where the note is on the staff, you play the note on a different place on your guitar: to change the pitch of the sound *it's so much easier to explain this when it's on the keyboard ><* It also determines what note you play: depending yet again on where the note sits on the staff. The notes can sit in-between or on the lines, and each has a different note to play... hmmm... have a look at this is my explaination isn't that good *which it isn't *fails**: Here.
Oh gosh, I hope so.....though I'm not sure how much more perfect and special someone can get! XD Which is why when my sister and I are in a rock band, we're gonna meet Tokio Hotel XDD
Yeah, my 'perfect one' is one of my OCs, strangely enough. Admittedly, that's cause I always do stuff like that. Put characteristics in my male characters that I find attractive, and characteristics in my female characters that I wish I had. At least, in the 'good' ones, the antagonists just get sort of cliche personalities. And some evil laughs thrown in here and there ><

I don't think so. The same staff is used for all instruments, so I doubt it.
