yup! its high tech! eighter ur scanner is crappy or its an old model! our old scanner scaned the same way as yours, our new one is the smart one we have! XD our current scanner is very new.

the thing is, we have a VERY good scanner! the scanner is so good, it can scan every detail, it even scans where we smudged and it shows how much pressure we used while coloring. it scans every detail. kinda frustrates me sometimes.
