very sorry shikamarulove but you're incorrect the 2 answers above yours are the correct ones, and yes it's a quadratic equation, good eye, cant believe i got responses so fast, stay tuned for more brain teasers XD

The exact answer is -8+2(sqrt(14)) and -8-2(sqrt(14)). The decimal answer is approximately -0.517 and -15.483.
On the subject of the card, I really like the image you used. :)

I GOT IT!!! The answer by use of the Quadratic formula is -.57 OR -15.48 Am i right???

i think i figured it out...rounded it would b: .70
not rounded it would b: .7071067
is that right??
