I think the opening songs of pokemon in English are all terrible. It's always all about being the best, the winner, etc. and it seems like catching them all and being the best is the main goal of the whole story. It's like they're using pokemon as tools, not creatures with feeling and it's all about wining and blegh. :P
but in the Japanese, they have encouraging words like "don't give up!" "Smile!" "happy!" "Makenai!" "Pokemon GET da ze!" etc. and they recognize pokemons as friends not tools to be a champion. :/ I love Haruka's theme the best~! "STAGE ON!" >u<

Yes the japanese songs of pokemon have the most power. I totally agree. I love Kyou and Nagisa though. :P XD Man Love Triangles are tough. Then again most of the women seemed in love with Tomoya. Lucky guy. XD
