theres online sites where you can do image editing. thats what i do for my cards. they are really helpful. but the lines are good way for filling the space.

Paint.Gotcha.You can move the images using the tool that looks like a rectangle with dashed lines.Just click on that,make the rectangle/square to fit around the image,and then you can move the image around.If you just do that,it'll make the cards look even better.
