A shinigami is a Death God, he is the owner of the Death Note that Light uses to kill people. Shinigami for some reason (or Ryuk only perhaps) really like apples and get withdrawal symptoms when they don't get them. Light was giving the apple to Ryuk after he had been off them for a while! There aren't generally tender moments between them since they both like to kill ~ Laughs Death Note is awesome though but not romantic, it's a much darker anime...I hope that helped ^_^

Lmao, I wish I had a pet shinigami X3 I always thought that too, that they have an owner - pet relationship...even tho the pet pwned the owner in the end...haha

Lol, a pet theme again? XD Ryuk looks like he's acting like a chicken in that shot. X3 Light really is rewarding Ryuk, isn't he? XD I really like Ryuk and his interaction with people, especially Light. And you know when Ryuk went away for a while? I was actually quite lonely. T.T I missed Ryuk. T.T Since then, I sort of switched sides. >.> I used to be on Light's side, but now I'm probably siding more with Ryuk. XD I don't care who wins, as long as it's entertaining for me! XD I love this card, especially the font. It's so fun and quirky. X3
