That is indeed what I've been trying to do. The problem is I just can't quite seem to stop thinking about the story I'm working on now. I try to think of ideas for other stuff, but my mind keeps drifting back to that story.
Hmm, that's a good point too. But on the other hand I feel like if I keep working on it right now I'll turn out sub quality work. Like I said in the post, the last chapter hasn't gotten very good response.
Actually I always do outlines because sometimes I get tiered of working on a story (like now) and want to put it down for awhile. That way it's easier to get back to when I decide to work on it again. Thanks for the tip.
If you have spent alot of time on it, and are tired of it, you should just get over with it as quickly as possible...because if you leave it as it is it'll keep bothering it so you should just get over with it and then make a fresh start...

Yeah, that idea has occurred to me. I've thought about just taking a few days off from writing to just work on wallpapers or something.

Here are a few things I've heard people use to help!
(hopefully I'm not being annoying by commenting so much! Sorry xD)
-Music: Maybe a sing could inspire you to write a story, it could give you ideas. (maybe your own interpretation in story form?)
-Make an outline: Write out some main points, characters, events etc. Pick what appeals to you the most and go on from there.
-Don't ever try to force a story: It'll come to you. If you absolutely cannot think of anything, rest and come back to it later.
If I find any more useful tips I'll let you know.
~Good luck! :)
