This really is a great story.
I remember when i played that game. It is still my favorite game, and it took me years to beat it. My dad gave it to me when i was younger and i fell in love with the series. This brings me back to the wonderful times i had, and i think it is one of those things that come once or twice in a lifetime that remind us of all the great times of our lives. very well written.

wow, ten years...that's crazy i feel old...

zelda ocarina of time is my favorite game in the entire world, and is the only game that i play over and over after beating. i think it's really cool that you and your dad and sister had such a fun time with it. my dad never really got into zelda, but surprisingly enough, me, my two year younger sister, and my dad got into kingdom hearts, and did about the same thing, only i was about eleven and my sister was nine (these are rough age guesses btw).

this was really a great essay, and i think it's possibly one the best written ones i've read one this site. i've give you props, and i hope that zleda still will live on. ^^

XD... as for you're deku tree- that's hilarious!! i remember one time we gave zelda a scotish sean connery-like accent, it was great
anywho- nice article ink, you should put our many cheats in there!!! maybe you could save some people time!!!! We have figured some pretty awesome cheats/shortcuts throught the years...ah nostalgia!!!

10 years, has it really been that long? Ah, yes, it has...I remember getting this game back when I was 11--a year after it was released. Such great memories. It's still one of my favorite games in the series to this day (of course, it wasn't my first. That would have to be A Link to the Past, which I played when I was 6).

Such a great story. I got a few laughs from the part about the tree's voice (my older sister and I like to give it an English accent, too, but I doubt it would have the same effect as what you were talking about XD) and naming the files "DA BOMB" and whatnot. I actually had to do the Water Temple for my sister, because she got SO LOST it wasn't even funny. Darn it, now I wanna play again. *looks around for N64*

    Wow.

That is such a great story! And Ocarina of Time, I would have to say, is the greatest Zelda game, and the greatest game period. I remember playing it for hours straight. And my little sister watching me the whole time.

This brought back many wonderful memories.
