Hey guys :D
So I finally decided to re-make the Featured artist world. I don't think it went too well the first time around, probably because I didn't put enough effort into it ^^;;; I've been wanting to re-start this for a while, and I finally got the chance so hopefully it works out better the 2nd time around :D
This world is to show off artists from all of the sections. Fan art, wallpapers, cards, and fan manga. There are many awesome pieces out there and no one gets to see them, so hopefully be showing them off here it will get more recognition from others!
(If you ever get featured, you'll know a little bit before head because I'd pm ya :D or a guest poster might pm ya :D)
In every post, I'm going to try and give a critique of the persons work so it's not just like hey go check this out. I'll also give reason behind it so it's not a random picture/wallie/card/fanmanga.
If anyone wants to guestpost, just leave a comment here or pm me :3. But if you wanna guestpost you have to leave at least 5 sentences about the person's work you're showing off :D.

I actually loled when i saw the nails. Not in a bad way lol, like it's so freaking cute and very creative :3 I also really like how they did the hair ^^
I honestly dont have much to say about it, because i think it's really cute and nicely done o.o;;

darKatana made a really cute art work so i wanna post it here :3
I think my two favorite things in the whole piece would have to be the flowers and the background. The flowers are really nicely done ^_^ Like they're not too detailed but they have enough detail to read what they are :3. And they're so pretty ;-;
Also the background has a really cool composition :o The three different rectangles and they all have the same background, it's a very neat idea :3
And of course the character is really cute and colored nicely :3

I really like how they did the hair. Those characters have such difficult hair to draw. In this case they did a really good job with the coloring :o in some areas it looks a little messy but overall i think they did a great job :D.
The proportions look good to me.. except maybe her left arm *like her left arm not when u look at the picture* the forearm looks a little long o.o... the hands are really nicely drawn ^_^
And .. omg.. the eyes.. so much detail @.@ So job well done Syallow95 :D

Faeorain made an awesome piece of his watch. Sorry that he lost it though, hopefully he finds it.
I think the shading is done really well. Maybe the shadow on the table or w/e its sitting on could be blended out a little bit more, because the shadows seem a little bit tight (if that makes any sense) Unless the lighting was directly above it. But that's just my view on it.
I think he did well with the face of the watch. The detail looks great, and the reflections look awesome.
Even though it's not anime i hope you guys check it out, because it's a great piece.

I dont know if any of you use Otakuboards, but Voltemand has posted his work there also, so if you have an OB account u can check out his work there too in the art studio ^_^
I'm not a fan of digimon, but the coloring and the composition is freaking awesome. You guys have to view it in high resolution, otherwise you'd be missing out on tons of detail work D:!!!
