Ah thats a good way of doing it! I've seen some of those ones around the internet but didn't know how they were created xP
I'll probably experiment quite a bit when I get going on it... And on DA, I can post anything like that so it's convenient in that way.
Yeah, especially if you want them to look right. Me? I would capture images from some of my favorite CDs with the DVD player on my computer, and then put them in the GIF maker. It worked, but sometimes it was either too fast or too slow. And because it was in my earlier computer days, if I wanted a special effect, I think I drew it in with Paint on each frame.
You did a great job on it though! :D I've made mine on a free gif site without many options.
WAH!!! That makes it even more awesome though, to know that you put so much effort into it <3
The best person I know of to ask would be Aishia on here. She is an absolute sweetie and I am sure she has some good tips as she often animates her cards ^^
The only real animation I've done is this weird thing. It's not a GIF, though. It's hand-drawn and imported in Flash. Since I didn't have a preloading screen, the first go-around is pretty slow.
This 16-second animation took me FOREVER. I'm talking, like, at least a month. It was nothing like I had expected. If I ever animated anything again, it will not be hand drawn.
Sorry I can't help you with the GIF thing. As I think about it, I did make little animations once, but that was a decade ago, and the programs I used are quite extinct.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
Wow that is so cool that your cousin does some animation!! Thanks so very much for passing her website to me, I'll make sure to contact her in my free time! Thats really awesome :)

I've made GIFs before, not of my own art, but I've made them. I just don't have the program I used to make them installed anymore...

I have seen some great animations on DA, though not necessarily gif animations. I did one of Naoyuki as an experiment, too! ^^
