Faerie pet?

I tried something different ^-^
First I had no idea how to make this wallie, it was a challenge for me from the very beginning.
So I came with the idea of a cage. First I wanted to put the bird n the cage...but it didn't look very good...so I made it look like it just escaped from the cage.
I made most of the wallpaper black & white, because I tried to put myself in a caged bird's place...it didn't feel very nice, it felt hopeless...colorless.
The main idea is, when you are held captive somewhere, you begin thinking negative...you lose the joy of living, you lose that color in your eyes. So when you escape or you are set free you begin living every moment like it is your last...you like your life more intensely. That is why the bird is half colored and half black & white, because when she is free she regains her colors, the joy of being free...and all that comes from the change of heart ^-^
