The Mad House pedegg

“No. It’s the nearest one and we don’t know what’s lurking in these halls.” I said.

“Fine.” said Chris.

So we trudged along.

“Do you guys know who could have made the inmates insane and unlocked the doors?” I asked.

“I’m not sure. But there was a cook here that was kind of crazy.” said Jerome.

“Who?”

“ His name is David Brent. He’s loco.” said Wong

I knew David. He was a creepy guy but he couldn’t have done it. We don’t even know how it was spread around the prison. We hugged the walls to the sound of screaming.
A prisoner was beating prisoner #614. 614 was bleeding severely as the insane inmate beat him with his shotgun. #614 was in a fetal position. With a giant swing, the inmate bashed his skull back into his brain. Prisoner #614 twitched twice and never twitched again. Jerome came out and fired his glocks into the prisoner. The bullet riddled corpse fell and bled.

“I got one more clip.” said Jerome.

“Come to think of it. I have two magazines left.” said Bill.

“We’re all low on ammo, which means the psychos are too.” I concluded.

Suddenly, a mob ambushed us. We all opened fire on them. My shotgun was out, so I slammed it into a prisoner. I pulled out my pistol and continued fighting off the mob. Bill was down to his pistol. Wong fired through a couple of skulls. He aimed at the approaching prisoner. Only to figure out his revolver was out. The prisoner drove his fire axe through his neck.

“Wong!” Yelled Jerome, finishing off a prisoner with his last bullet.

Chris was smashing down prisoners with his gun. I shot the prisoner with the axe, picked it up and lodged it into another skull. I fired again and again. Blood splattered all over me. My last clip was used wisely. Every bullet had taken a life. Chris picked up Wong’s second revolver and shot the window behind us.

“I have a grenade! I’ll hold them off!” Yelled Chris.

My pistol ammo gone, I threw it at the window to shatter it. Jerome had taken the axe and was lopping off heads. I used my pipe to smack the glass off the bottom of the window sill.

“Let’s go!” I yelled.

I threw Bill over into the other room. Jerome followed. I leapt over it and used it’s door to get into the next hall. Chris pulled out his grenade and pulled the pin. He dropped the grenade and turned to see inmates. He punched them down to get to the window. Another tackled him. He punched him in the face. Chris picked up a pipe and rammed it through his neck. Just then, the mob was engulfed in a ball of fire. Chris was gone.

“No!” Yelled Jerome.

Jerome went to go back, but I pulled him back.

“He’s gone.” I said.

“We’re almost there man.” said Bill.

Bill was weak. We were now carrying him. Blood seeped through his shirt. But we continued. But what we found was anything but our escape. The door to the control was covered by debris.

“Shit!” Yelled Jerome.

“Mike..Look.” whispered Mike.

A prisoner was laying in a puddle of blood. But the message above him solved it all.
It was written in blood, probably with his hands.

“Don’t drink the water.” I whispered.

“That’s how it spread.” said Jerome.

“C’mon let’s go.” pleaded Bill.

“The debris is piled up to the second floor. We can go through to the library and use the fire escape.” I said.

So we climbed the debris and got to the second floor. Jerome and I pulled Bill up onto the floor. He was bleeding. Bad. Blood was on the floor where he was pulled.

“The library’s not far.” said Jerome.
