Thanks for the info!! I know it will help with the finishing touches, but I so love doing the work by hand (except I don't mind framing it out in the 'puter).
1 i have EX 3. so idk if this guide will work for you
http://www.pencilkiller.com/tutorial.html its good for toning http://ildisegno.blogspot.com/2007/12/how-to-draw-manga-10-minutes-video.html this is good for drwing ppl
other than that just search manga studio tutorials and read those its really just the interface that is confusing at first and the fact that all of your files need to be converted to jpg after you make them
2. you need a wacom
( i dont heve one yet so my Bacrounds on Ze program are very limeted)
Confession time - I actually have Manga Studio....normally I like to draw the backgrounds and do all the shading and stuff by hand...but the concept for this one was developed during Thanksgiving and had to be done really, really quickly so I could get a hard copy to my friend for Christmas. However, I would LOVE to have hints and help on how to use manga studio...I also confess I have had a hard time figuring out how to use it.
I have to admit, I had a LOT of fun doing this! This was the project I was working on - wanted to get it done and get it out to Stanincel by Christmas - and have been dying to post it here but - I wasn't going to until Stanincel saw it first (she has a printed copy). Rodrigo is terribly, terribly fun.....with permission (and time) I may have to do another story.......
