Yes you can,I stated in the rules the wallpaper can feature more than one favorite character because I have alot of favorite characters from various fandoms and it's sometimes hard to pick one absolutely favorite character. So yes two characters in a wallpaper is just fine,if you would like to make one with more,go right ahead.
