I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going and I ran into someone. I looked up to see Ta-Kun looking down at me. He smiled and reached out for my hand. "Sorry bout that Kao-Kun." I shook my head. "No I should have been paying attention to where I was going." He helped me up. "So, what do you think about us being able to go outside?" I looked down. "It makes Kanayuki-San sad..." Ta-Kun sighed. "You're always worried about others. Kanayuki-San isn't exactly as nice as you think he is you know." I frowned. I know Kanayuki-San wasn't very nice, but he hadn't been mean to me yet. Besides, when I looked at him I just felt that surge of love wash over me. I want him to be happy. "I just wish...we could all be happy." Ta-Kun smiled sadly at me. "Do...do you want to go outside with me Kaoru?" Outside? Me? Before I knew what I was doing I was nodding. He smiled and took my hand. "Awesome! Maybe we'll meet some other kids! Maybe they'll want to play ball with us!" We were running to the gate when I saw Nono-Nii again. He smiled and waved at us. "Have fun kids." Ta-Kun stared at him. "Where you going Nono-Nii?" Shino held up a bag. "I'm going out to find some inspiration?" We both smiled. "A new painting?!" He nodded. "Yes...I want to go to the place called a park. Do you two want to tag along? There should be other kids there as well." We both nodded and followed him. As we took out first steps outside the Sohma estate we all froze and looked around. "It's odd isn't it?" I looked up at Shino. "Being outside those walls. It's scary...and exciting." He smiled down at us and ruffled our hair. "So then. To the park?" When we got to the park we instantly went to the play area. There were lots of kids there! I saw this one kid, he must have been 4 or 5 playing on a swing, when someone pushed him off. He fell to the ground and began to cry. I ran over and shoved the bigger kid. He turned and glared at me. "Mind your own business twerp!" He shoved me backwards. Before I realized I punched him in the face. "PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE YOU BULLY!" He wiped the blood from his lip and grabbed me by the front of my hoodie. "Like you brat?" He pulled his fist back and got ready to punch me. "I wouldn't do that if I were you?" I turned to see Tatsuya glaring at the kid. His red eyes almost glowing in anger. "There's two of us now. Maybe you should just leave." The kid let go of my shirt and walked away. "I'll get you brats next time." I went over to the kid who was crying. "Are you ok?" He looked up at me, and nodded. "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU LITTLE DELINQUENTS DOING TO MY BROTHER?!" I spun around to see a woman with blond curly hair and blue eyes running towards us. "Y...you got the wrong idea! Honest! We helped him!" I hope she didn't get to close. I don't know how to explain turning into a cow.

I invited the kids with me. I didn't really want them to tag along, but I was more worried about something bad happening to them. When we got to the park I grabbed Tatsuya by the arm. "Keep and eye on Kaoru, and remember not to let any girls hug you." He nodded and I let them go. Then I set up my , and put my headphones in. I put on Beethoven's Appassionata and began to paint. It was turning out well. A nice park scenery piece. I can't wait to hang it in my room. To commemorate my day of freedom. I never want to forget this park. The lush green grass that waved in the wind, the sound of children laughing in play, the Sakura trees with their pink cherry blossoms floating down on the wind, the birds singing, and the clear blue little pond that teemed with life in the middle of the park. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. "SHINO-NII!!!!!" I turned to see Tatsuya and Kaoru. There was a girl with them and a little kid. The kid was crying. I sighed. "What did they do?" Then I sat my paintbrush down and ran over to them.
