As I was updating the Brigade, my package that I ordered over two weeks ago arrived. Guess what was in the package? Yu Yu Hakusho Gashu and the Yu Yu Hakusho character book strait from Hokkaido, Japan (that big north island of Japan). What are these? Yu Yu Hakusho Gashu is the official Yu Yu Hakusho artbook drawn by Yoshihiro Togashi. Most of these pictures are full size (mostly) watercolored pages that are seen and not seen in the manga. The Yu Yu Hakusho character book is a data book about every character in the series, and then some. I can not read kanji, so…all I can do is look at the pretty pictures.
Now, if you guys ask me nicely, I will go find my camera and take some pictures for you and post them on the Brigade (tell me what characters you'd like to see). I will not scan any pages, unless you guys get together and scrape up $60 and give it to me so I can order another set of books that I will take apart and scan at 600 dpi (600? My compy’s gonna die) and will put it all up for Brigade members to see (you don't have to ^^). I am so protective of my books and can not stand any damage to them, even minor ones (coming from a person who’s a perfectionist that pays too much attention to detail).
But, anyways, the books are pretty amazing, and the cover is shiny (ooh, shiny).
That wraps up everything for the last three weeks. Cross your finger that it will not take that long again. See you next time!
