I would like to take a moment to thank you all who sent prayers to the various gods and goddesses for me. And to everyone who gave us encouragement and told us to never give up and that our time would come. Thank you!
See, my sugars were incredibly high, so he and I went for a walk to get the insulin working and to bring them down. So, we walked about two miles all over the neighborhood and down the hill to the middle school. After we ate some dinner, we decided to walk over to our old workplace, which just reopened last Thursday. And, our old boss saw us and said she'd love to have us back to work on art!
See, there's MANY more people who have discovered they do printings and she desperately needed a couple more artists and YAY, we're them!
PLUS, we'll be contractors, which means we can issue our own prices per art. We'll be making more money than before! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?!
Oh, if you're still wondering about my sugars, they went from 390 to 205. They're still high, but MUCH better. ^__^
Thank you all again! I'm certainly feeling EPICALLY better than yesterday.
You guys are the best! Thanks so much! I owe you all!! One day, I'll create a great manga that you'll all love and when they ask me where I got my start, I'll say, "Well, I got my start at TheOtaku.com, and I couldn't have done it without all the members there. I love you all!!!"
