Hey, guys, just hanging. :3
Got my Japanese exam back today. I would've bombed it... but, so did everyone else... so the teacher graded on a curve, and I ended up with a C... I think. XDDD
See, I was ready for this test. I knew all the grammar, all the kanji, EVERYTHING.
She decided to make an entire part of the test something we hadn't done in over a year... which is where we all failed. =_=;
As for Astronomy... I need to do that homework still... ^_^;;
The exam is on Thursday. But, I'm not worried, I'm doing well in it.
Oh, we watched American Beauty in Media Arts today.
Now, I know where all those jokes on Family Guy come from. XDDD And, since I knew the FG parodies first, whenever the parts came up on the movie (some of them rather serious) I sat in back, laughing.
Relax, I wasn't the only one laughing. Tons of other people were as well. XD
Oh, and here's the tragic news.
I was at the b/f's after school yesterday and his grampa came in crying. Now, this alarmed both of us because, I've never seen this man cry. And, the b/f had only seen him cry once before in his life: when his gramma (grampa's wife) died about 9 years ago. He came into the room crying and saying, "I might not make it to the end of the day."
This scared my b/f, who called his mom who came home to drive his grandpa to the hospital.
Now, gramps is in the hospital, hooked to oxygen. They say he might have pneumonia, which is rough. He was already working at only 1/2 capacity of his lungs, and he just keeps smoking cigarettes everyday. So, this is hard for him.
I'm afraid I might see my boyfriend cry for the first time soon...
But, I've heard that grampa is making a recovery and should be back home within the week, as long as he keeps it up.
