Oprah: So, like many child stars, do you feel old even though you are 15 years old?
Jesse: When the world first noticed me, they mistakened me as a 20 year old man. That's why you would often find me in jail. I was always hearing that and I would get upset. I would yell, "Why do you think I'm a boy?" many times.
Oprah: And I heard in newspapers, that you sound like Michael-
Jesse: No...
Oprah: That he gave you some of his vocal cords...
Jesse: No, that's not true. Not true at all!
Oprah: Then, how did the singing voice come up?
Jesse: I dunno. I never knew my mother, but I knew she was a singer. I got it from her. I never was very good until Michael saved me from death.
Oprah: You're serious?
Jesse: Yes. I was washed up from a beach near California, and my throat was filled with poison which I will explain about later. Chakra is like a life force for ninjas like me. I had a giant chakra tube in my vocal cords, so if that posion had stayed in my throat, I could've died right there. Then Michael saw me. He was like "We got to save this child right now!" So I was sedated and they fixed my throat and in order to help my damaged chakra filled cords, the doctors would have to get a DNA copy of a professional singer's vocal cords, in this case Michael's. I would never forget that day.
Oprah: So do you always sound like him.
Jesse: No. It only happens when I want to talk like him, whenever I sing his songs, and when I just laugh. *MJ's voice* HEE HEE! *normal voice* Like that...
Oprah: Are your friends jealous of you being famous and have all the attention?
Jesse: Not that I know of... Actually, they're happy. Deiara visits me in Wonderland sometimes, Gaara and Taro do music with me, and everyone else is fine.
Oprah: I hear you say friends and before you moved here, you never had a real home. Don't you have a family?
Jesse: Before I was 8, I never knew I had a family. I always thought I was an orphan. 8 years old was a negative turning point. Do you know Coraline by Neil Gaiman?
Oprah: About a girl going to a paradise world but it's a nightmare?
Jesse: Yeah, I went there *stands up* and I loved it. My Other Mother spoiled me so much. Then she changed, she hit me and *walks Oprah to the Cat Room* she told me that my father disowned me, and my mom died before I was old enough to know her. I never met my mother, I never said "I love you" to her... *holds back tears*
Oprah: Please don't cry, please. *hugs Jesse* So without a mommy or daddy-
Jesse: I have daddys. How could you say that? I have daddys all the time. Shukau sensei is my daddy. Michael was my daddy AND a mommy.
Oprah: But without like a real mom or dad, how was pubrety for you?
Jesse: I didn't like my appearence starting at age 10. When I was famous at Halloween Town, girls were like "Where's cute little Jess?" A girl pointed out towards me, "There she is!" And then they said, "UGH! Look at that face!!! She looks like Oogie. What happened?"
Oprah: I was getting up to him. I heard he was one of your Big Boys, your boy that you spoil a lot. So did he ever do anything bad to you?
Jesse: The first time he met me, he was very upset. He called me names before like "Idiot" or "spaz" or "Ugly". He only liked me because I got him out from jail.
Oprah: So when you actually was living with him at first, did he abused you?
Jesse: Yes he did. Sorry Oogie.
