I am in such a great mood!
I have just watched The Lion King, a beautiful story of the tragedy of an adorable little cub, who grows up to be a magnificent king. The brilliance of the music (Written by none other than Elton John, no less) astounds me. I have loved this movie since I was a baby, and it still remains my favorite <3
School was released early today because of the holidays. Some of my family is coming over tomorrow, and we will gorge ourselves with food. School in and of itself today was pretty awesome.
Nothing incredible happened in PE, but, whatever, it's PE.
Band was cool, as always. The only problem with band is that Mr. Director has given a good portion of the solos to me. Now, you may not know this, but I am terribly shy about playing in front of people. There's just too much pressure! So, I am currently working on getting out of them, but it doesn't seem likely. Road Runner (lol, a friend came up with that name XD) even refused my bribe of five dollars to take my solo, haha! I suppose my only hope is to get over it or die :D
History was dull. We watched the same Thanksgiving video we did last year, but we got some pretty fantastic drawing games in there! My favorite would have had to be Jim Bob, the faceless dude that we passed around. He looks FABULOUS now, haha! (Well, not really. If I ever saw somebody who looked like him in real life, I would probably vomit).
Science was fun as well. We played around a bit and went over homework, then took a quiz. The room beside us was sooo funny! They were laughing really loudl and obnoxiously, and it just cracked me up!!!
But, anyway, my life rocks and I love Lion King!!! I hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving and a great rest of your week!
